My Time at the Kellogg's Tour of Gymnastics Champions

A few weeks ago I said that I would have a post about going to the Kelloggs Tour. Well here it is! Sorry it's late but now that I've started this blog it makes it easy to post.

*Info: My stop was in Minneapolis, MN at the Target Center and I did not have VIP tickets

I arrived to the arena about 5:45pm. The doors opened at 6pm and I wanted to be a bit early so I could get in quickly. We walked in and they had a number of activities set up. They had a table set up with gymnasts from the University of Minnesota and they were signing autographs, this is what I got:

They also had the Kellogg's Fitness Zone set up. It had a few kind of active activities for kids to do. Here is a picture of some mini trampolines they had:

At the end of the whole fitness zone they had a table set up with people giving away some Kelloggs goodie bags. You were suppose to get one after you completed the activities but I went up and asked if there was any chance that I could have a bag with out going through (because I am older than most of the kids participating) and they said yes. Here are some pictures of what was inside:

                         The Bag                                                                   A Cereal Bowl
A Small Poster

They had multiple merchandise spots set up around the arena, sorry its not a very good picture:

I bought a program, It was $15 and here is what the cover looks like:
I also really liked this picture that is in the program:

Like all of the merchandise, it was a bit pricy but I think that its worth it because it has beautiful pictures and I'll be able to keep it forever.

Also, make sure to take a picture of you with the big cornflakes box! :)

Alright, so here is the view of the arena from my seats before the show. I was on the lower level and row P. The picture makes it looks further away than it really was!

Now I'll post pictures from the show, some of them are out of order but here they are:

Those were some of my better pictures that I took at the tour. Overall it was a very fun night! It was amazing to see all of these talented people. Don't expect to be seeing everyones hardest gymnastics skills or anything. A lot of the tumbling and stuff is what we would probably call their easy skills. They do a mix of harder and easier skills so its not completely "easy" things. The show is definitely meant to be entertaining, they have a lot of fun costumes and lots of lighting effects. I enjoyed the music that they performed to, you'll definitely have the songs stuck in your head!

I also had made Aly Raisman a card and something for the rest of the cast and crew also. I didn't have meet and greet so I asked one of the security people on the floor of the arena if they could give it to them. She told me to give it to one of the Target Center guards and they would get it to them. I gave it to a guard and she said she would give it to them. Im still super nervous about them getting it though! I really hope that they did receive what I made (fingers crossed)! I included self addressed stamped envelopes incase they wanted to send something back to me. I might never know if they got it but hopefully!

Please feel free to ask me any questions you have about the tour I will gladly try to answer them :)
